DOUBLE GATES AT GATES 1 & 2 July 23, 2024
Anti- Tailgating Gates are Active
The Anti-Tailgating gates are now active and working. Please be extra careful when entering these gates.
These gates work in tandem with one another. When a vehicle pulls up to the first gate arm, it will open, allowing access only to the second gate in front you. Upon arrival at the second gate, the first gate arm, (now behind you), will close. The second gate arm, (now in front of you), will then open, only allowing access to one vehicle at a time. If the second gate arm does not open right away, please slowly pull forward until you see the rear gate arm close. This will allow the second gate arm in front of you to open. Once the second gate arm opens you may proceed with caution.
The vehicle operator must use always use caution when approaching these gate arms, just as they always have been with the current existing single gate arms. Nobody wants to be in a position of having their vehicle damaged because of a gate arm strike or damaging a gate arm due to a gate arm strike. A “fender bender” goes without saying. As always, please use caution when approaching these new trap arm gates.
The Main Gate, (Gate 1), at Powerline Road and Boca Pointe Drive, and (Gate 2) at S.W. 18TH Street and Boca Pointe Drive, are currently in place and are active.
The Villages that will be affected are on the West side: Palomar, Esplanada, Caravelle, Meridiana, El Viento, La Mirada, Southwinds, La Corniche, La Paz, and El Dorado and The Club. Please plan accordingly.
If anyone has any cares, questions, or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me. Thank you.
