BACK TO SCHOOL

Attention Boca Pointe parents:

You and your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us. With school starting for most children this week please keep these concerns in mind.

1. Your child should not sit on the curb at a bus stop. The National Safety Council recommends children remain six feet away from the nearest curb while waiting for the bus.
2. Parents in vehicles (either dropping off or picking up) at bus stops must not block the flow of traffic. This means no parking in designated turn lanes, in the street, etc.
3. Motorists must be observant near bus stops. Follow the law and stop for buses. PBSO will enforce this!

The BPCA has a genuine concern for the well-being and safety of children. Follow these guidelines and we can help keep our children out of harm’s way. Security will be monitoring bus stops as operations permit.
